Bhubaneswar: Odisha's Rajasmita Kar won Dance India Dance Season 3 a reality show of Zee TV. She hails from Basanti Colony of Rourkela city.

Her father Ramesh Kar is an electrician.  Rajasmita is a Plus II Arts student of the Rourkela College, she could not complete her Plus-II in time. Rajasmita started taking dance lessons from a local teacher, Aman Nayak. It needed at least four attempts via dance shows of a popular Odia and a national channel before she finally firmed up her feet to make it big in the DID.

She  loves Hip Hop the most but she does all other dance styles pretty well. Her dance idol is Sridevi. She wants to open a dance institute and teach kids.
