Report by OD bureau; Bhubaneswar: Distinguished Social worker and renowned writer Dr Govinda Bhuyan appointed as O.S.D. (Officer in Special Duty) to the Assam Governor Janaki Ballav Patnaik by the Assam Raj Bhavan.
He has taken the official charge on 2nd JULy 2012 at Assam RajBhavan, Guwahati. Before this assignment Dr Bhuyan was working as a spokesperson of Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee.
On account his new responsibility, many prominent educationalists, intellectuals, political leaders across party lines and eminent writers have congratulated and wished him for his new assignment.
