Report by OD bureau; Bhubaneswar: Noted spiritual Guru Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy to be felicitated at Washington State Summit. This was said by Debadutta Dash, Co-chair of the Washington State and India Trade Relations Action Committee.
The summit will open with 3rd Annual Building Bridges Reception on the evening of September 27 where the organizers will honor Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy with the “Building Bridges across the Nations” award for his works on the arts, literature, music and spirituality.
Dr. Satpathy was recently conferred with D. Litt. (Doctorate of Literature) by the Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth, Tirupati and LL. D. (Doctorate of Law) by the Berhampur University in India. The day long summit on September 28th will include inauguration, keynote addresses by dignitaries, informative workshops, one to one networking among participants, industry focused panels, company spotlights and discourses by Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy (Guru Ji) on “Mystique India, Eastern Philosophy and Sai Revolution”.
The summit will be held in Seattle, Washington, on September 27 and 28 at the Seattle Center. Union Commerce and Industry Minister Anand Sharma and Union Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh have been invited as the Keynote Speakers.
Ambassador Isi A. Siddiqui, Chief Agricultural Negotiator at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, U.S. Rep. Jim McDermott and Consul General of India Mr. N. Parthsarathi will be among the many dignitaries attending the first Washington State Summit on US-India Trade & Commerce.
Other confirmed distinguished speakers are Mr. Ravi Saxena, Additional Chief secretary for Science & Technology, State government of Gujarat and well known author, spiritual leader and philosopher Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy from India; Mr. Rogers Weed, Director for the Dept of Commerce for the state of Washington, Mr. Tay Yoshitani, CEO of the Port of Seattle, Provost Ana Marie Cauce of the University of Washington and Mr. Naveen Jain, Philanthropist and CEO/Founder of Intelius and Moon Express. Organizers have invited several dignitaries from India and USA as well as distinguished speakers, and expect 250+ delegates to participate in this US-India trade summit.
