Report by OD bureau, Dubai: Designer Pritam Panda, on his Paris trip for the 3rd time. 2010 it was the display of his haute couture avant garde line at the CHAMBRE SYNDICALLE DE LA COUTURE A LA MUSEUME, Paris...2011 it was the bestow of an Honorary masters degree in the field of Art and Design from the prestigious Ecole Normale Superere , in Montrougue, France aswell his first ever runway in the mother city of Fashion.

Now in 2012 he is yet again set to be in Paris to host his second showcasing of his luxury haute couture line at the Hotel D’ Everuex in Paris which would be an occasion graced by glitterati from around the globe and celebrity clients like Vivian Mard and Mannar are to be present to grace the occasion.

The designer’s show would be hosted in the Mecca of fashion by the liquor lords “MOET & CHANDON” in association with RR –Automobiles, premier company of luxury cars in France and rest of the Europe. Apart from this big nite, the designer has also been tied up for some brand promotions, label launch, previews and endorsement in his 10days Paris trip. Panda has also been invited to host a walk thru event of his Indian and western ensembles at the Indian embassy lawns on the coming Tuesday to a select guest list of 150.

The designer would also be a part of the “MY BARBIE” red carpet event, to start on the 2nd October at the CHAMBRE SYNDICALLE DE LA COUTURE A LA MUSEUME, Paris, where in the designer would be the first Indian origin designer to be commissioned to design a collection for the world renowned Barbie dolls with his signature style haute couture. Panda has designed an odd number of 6 haute couture items for Barbie with a tag line of his Indian embellishment styles juxtaposed with international sillhouttes.

Fashion Tv host and celebrity client Hofit Golan is proposed to accompany the designer to support him for this gala event. “ If things work good and God keeps me blessed Its not far away that we could see a Barbie in my signature style haute couture hitting the racks for sale to fancy every little girl around the globe ”-says the designer who’s all excited and set to trot France the coming week.
