Bhubaneswar: Social worker Lokanath Dash has won the Tyaga Award-2007 for his contribution in social work. The award, sponsored by social organisation Tyaga, was given at a State-level blood donation camp here. Dash is the director of Ashraya, an organisation for the crippled, orphans and leprosy patients. Governor MC Bhandare presented the award. Tyaga president Durga Padhi, Editor of Sambad Soumya Ranjan Patnaik, Ashraya president Madan Mohan Prusty and social worker Susant Kumar Sahoo were among those present.
