Bhubaneswar: Odisha Rifle Association will be organising a four-day summer shooting training at the Utkal Karate School shooting range here from June 21 to 24 to popularise gun sports in the State.
Thirty participants will be trained in 10-metre air rifle and pistol. The camp will focus on handling of gun, alignment, aim, trigger and target. Experienced shooters will be provided specialized training.
Shooting sports needs lot of physical and mental strength. We are planning to educate the participants about the basic and finer aspect of this royal sport, instructor Hari Prasad Patnaik said.
June 18 is the last date to get the name registered for the camp.
