Odisha bags gold National Rowing Championship

Bhubaneswar: Odisha rowing team bagged three medals including two golds in the 15th Sub Junior and 16th Challenger Sprints National Rowing Championship being held atKodaikanal in Tamil Nadu from June 10.

Kajal Jena clinched gold in single scull sub-junior championship while Pricila Buxla and Manisha Kispotta bagged the gold medal in coxless pair. Kajal also won a bronze medal in single scull for 500 metre in the Challenger Sprints Championship.

An eight-member rowing team from Odisha is participating in the eight-day championship which would conclude tomorrow.
