New Delhi: Jagran Solutions, India’s leading brand activation agency that provides marketing solutions for Brands via Engagement Marketing Strategies partnered with Red Bull to execute the grand finale of Red Bull Street Style at the historic Princep Ghat in Kolkata. The contest saw finalists coming from Delhi, Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Kolkata participating against each other in a head-to-head battle for 30 seconds. To establish how football has evolved over the years, this global property of Red Bull intends to highlight three attributes of football: Control, Technique and Style in a live format.

Jagran Solutions bagged this project on the merit of their past executions. Having executed some of the high-profiled sports event for Red Bull like Speed Street & Campus Cricket, the agency crafted a perfect set-up by placing a rectangular stage in the open arena of Princep Ghat. With the picturesque view of the Vidyasagar Sethu (new Howrah Bridge) serving as the backdrop of the event, the venue was embellished with sky trackers, CT scanners, LED screen and Pyros posed the perfect ambience for the evening.

The rules of the game were simple: In a head-to-head battle, each participant performed for 30 seconds before passing the ball to his fellow participant; Judged on variety, control, technique and style in a span of 3 minutes. The evening saw performances by Michael Keishling, winner of the Red Bull Street Style 2010 and Archis Patil, a Guinness and Limca World record holder in freestyle football.

The event which lasted for more than 3 hours witnessed Pradeep Ramesh declared as the winner who will now compete with winners from 40 countries in the global finals of Red Bull Street Style in Italy.
