Bhubaneswar: All-rounder Biplab Samantaray will lead Odisha in the All-India Buchi Babu Invitation Cricket Tournament, starting in Chennai on August 21. Odisha Cricket Association today announced the 16-member state team with Govind Poddar as vice-captain.
The team is set to air travel to Chennai on August 19, accompanied by coach Debasis Mohanty, manager Subhasis Bhuyan, physio Saumya Rout and trainer Manoj Biswal.
Placed in three-team Group A, Odisha would play their two league matches against Hyderabad on August 21 and 22 and Maharashtra on August 24 and 25.
