Bhubaneswar: The selection of State shooting team to be held at Utkal Karate School here on October 13, for the forthcoming 22nd All India GV Mavlankar Shooting Championship (AGVMSC) to be held at Delhi from November 3 to 10, informed Odisha Rifle Association secretary Hari Prasad Pattnaik.

A minimum scoring points has been fixed to qualify for the AGVMSC championship. In 10 meter .177 air rifle event, men and women to score (360/400), junior man, women, veteran (350/400). Similarly, in 10 meter .177 air pistol, men (345/400), women (335/400), junior man, women, veteran (330/400).

However, in the 50 meter .22 bore rifle prone (peep sight), men (540/600), women (530/600), junior man, women, veteran (500/600) and in the (open sight), men, women  (450/600) and junior man, women, veteran (425/600).
The interested shooters can submit their names at Utkal Karate School on and before October 10, added Pattnaik.
