Bhubaneswar: Unbeaten Odisha edged out the host Bhopal by 5-0 goals and joined defending champion Indian Railways, Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy (MPHA), entered the quarterfinal round of the 2nd National Hockey Championship at Bhopal on Tuesday.
In the lop sided match, Namita Toppo netted twice and her-mate Birajini Ekka, Nilima Minz and Elin Lakra scored a goal each.
Earlier on Monday, in the pool-C match, Odisha thrashed Rajasthan by 14-0.
Railways outsmarted Kerala 17-1 in a Pool ‘A’ match, while MPHA blanked Chhattisgarh 6-0 in a Pool ‘E’ engagement.
