Report by Pragyan Das, Bhubaneswar : Health and Family Welfare Minister Prasanna Acharya expressed in the house on Friday that the outbreak of swine flu has been reported in seven districts. The Minister, while replying to a question from legislatures Anant Das, Dr. Ramesh Chandra Chaupatnaik and Prabhat Ranjan Biswal, said that the seven districts where the cases of swine flu have been reported are, Sundargarh, Angul, Balasore, Ganjam, Khurda, Puri and Jagatsinghpur.

He said that of the 19 persons identified with swine flu so far, two of them have died.

Stating that the Regional Medical Research Centre in Bhubaneswar is identifying the suspected swine flu patients, Achary said that the Centre has provided adequate medicines.
