Bhubaneswar: Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan open it’s management school at Bhubaneswar Kendra in Kharavel Nagar. It was inaugurated by Orissa Governor Rameshwar Thakur. He also inaugurated Post Graduate Diploma Course in Business Management at the institute.
Thakur said that while there was a crazy rush for opening business schools, every step had to be taken to ensure no dilution of quality. He emphasised on incorporating variety and innovation in the academic ambience. Institutions need to go beyond the focus on placements and create the right academic atmosphere with quality teaching.
Bhavan's Board chairman Ranganath Mishra, Bhubaneswar Kendra chairman Maj Gen BK Mohapatra, Management College director SK Tomatia, BPUT Vice-Chancellor Omkar Nath Mohanty and Kendra secretary and director RK Mishra also spoke on the occasion.
