Report by Santanu Ganguly, New Delhi: Shuttlecock Boys movie hit the theater screens today at PVR Cinemas in Delhi and Mumbai. An honest movie made on a budget of 35 lacs competing with Jism 2 starring Mahesh Bhatt’s muse Sunny Leone is bound to lose out on its Oomph Factor and the erotica. However, leading film critics in the country who have watched the film have appreciated the honest effort and the portrayal of real life situations.
 
Shuttlecock Boys, made under the banner of Pennywise Films Pvt. Ltd., is a coming of age film shot entirely in and around Delhi in areas such as Janakpuri, Tilak Nagar, etc. The movie will not only take its audience through a journey of life, but reach out to everyone wanting to chase their dream as well.

Story synopsis: It’s a story that revolves around the lives, successes and failures of four friends who hail from lower-middle class backgrounds living in Delhi, with a question trickling down their minds. ‘Revolving around four protagonists Gaurav (Vijay Prateek), Manav (Aakar Kaushik), Pankaj (Alok Kumar) and Loveleen (Manish Nanwani) who seek to answer the question trickling down their minds. ‘Should we accept what life offers to us on a platter or should we try to chase our dreams, taking the path less taken?' They then decide to embark upon an eventful journey that will change the course of their lives and careers forever.
 
Background music: The music scores have been composed by Avinash Bhagel and lyrics have been penned down by Prachi Singh, Manas Mishra and Gaurav Solanki.
 
Considering the budget constraints and no celebrity factor, Shuttlecock Boys has been released in Mumbai and Delhi NCR only at PVR Cinemas. The show timings are as below:
