Shimla: Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister led the State in paying floral tributes to the former Prime Minister of India, late Shri Rajiv Gandhi by offering flowers at his statue at Sadbhavna Chowk, to mark his birthday celebrations here today.

He was joined by Shri Narender Bragta, Horticulture and Health and Family Welfare Minister, Shri Virender Kashyap,Member of Parliament, Shri Suresh Bhardwaj local MLA, Shri Ganesh Dutt, Vice Chairman HIMUDA, Shri Sher Singh Chauhan, Chairman Agriculture and Rural Development Bank and District Shimla BJP President, Shri Sanjay Chauhan, Mayor Municipal Corporation Shimla, Shri Rajesh Sharda, Shimla BJP Mandal President, Shri R.S. Gupta, Principal Private Secretary to Chief Minister, Shri Arun Sharma Deputy Commissioner and other dignitaries of the town.

Chief Minister administered a pledge of communal harmony to all those present on the occasion. Devotional and patriot songs were sung to mark the birth anniversary of the former Prime Minister.
