Shimla: Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister led the ceremonial procession of three day long State level Hamir Utsav originating from Collectorate Hamirpur to perform pooja at Shiv Temple to begin the Fair at Hamirpur today.
Chief Minister was accompanied by local MLA Smt. Urmil Thakur, Smt. Sarla Sharma, Chairperson, Zila Parishad, Shri Pyare Lal Sharma, Chairman, APMC and State President, BJP Kisan Morcha, Shri M.P. Parmar, CMD, Ex-Servicemen Corporation, Shri R.S. Mankotia, Chairman, Kangra Central Cooperative Bank, Smt. Maya Rana Vice President, State BJP, Shri Deep Kumar, President, Municipal Committee, Hamirpur, Smt. Veena Sharma, Member State BJP Executive Committee and other office bearers of party and Shri Rajender Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Shri Madhusudan Sharma, Superintendent of Police and other senior officers of the district.
On arrival at Mela ground, he inaugurated exhibition stalls put up by Government, Non Government and Public Sector Undertakings and various other voluntary organizations. He went around the stalls and evinced keen interest in exhibits displayed in the exhibitions.
