Bangkok: Sunil Seth, vice president, marketing and sales, Tata Steel (Thailand) PLC, recently received an award on behalf of the company from the Ministry of Commerce, Thailand.
It was recognition for being the only steel company to cooperate in sharing market data with the Bureau of Trade and Economic Indices, which helps the ministry monitor the steel price of long products and evolve indices for the construction industry in Thailand.
The award was given by Yanyong Phuangrach, permanent secretary for commerce, Thailand. The award ceremony was held on September 13, 2012, by the Bureau of Trade and Economic Indices under the Ministry of Commerce.
