Balasore: Eleven people were rescued from Balasore railway station by town police today. The people from Baliapal were allegedly being trafficked to Hyderabad by agents to engage them as factory workers.

The police also nabbed one of the agents, Biswajit Bhuyan while other associate Karunkar Jena absconded .

No case, however was registered against the agent. The rescued people had reportedly said they were willfully moving to Hyderabad in search of jobs, informed police sources , adding they were handed over to the district labour officer for further action.
