250 grams

tablespoons Refined flour
1/2
teaspoon Cardamom powder
11/2 litres Milk
8
tablespoons Sugar
3 Cardamoms (green)
Ghee
Method
Drain off water completely from the cottage cheese.
Hang for 2-3 hours till firm. Mix the cheese with
flour, cardamom powder and knead into a smooth
dough. Divide into balls. Heat ghee in a deep
bottomed pan, slightly flatten the cheese balls
and deep fry till golden brown.Boil the milk and
the sugar till it reduces to half its original
volume. Add slightly crushed cardamoms and the
fried cheese balls.
Simmer for 5-7 minutes.Serve warm. |
